After spending three hours hurting myself last night with Hotline Miami 2, I decided to start this build instead when I realized the pain was too much.
This is @notenoughapples‘ Peanut. The cutie mark, for as not-peanut-y as it looks, is fairly good, I’d say. I’ve got the general positions of the nuts down, so I’d give it a pass. The tail was good, but when my bud @tenenbris suggested I thin it out, it came out looking great. Good eye, my man. Her hair was a bit of a struggle to figure out, but what I’ve got it to is alright. Seeing as individual lego bricks can’t be multi-colored, her tie isn’t as accurate as I’d like it to be, but it works. For character shots, I get this vibe Peanut is some type of nuts salesmare, so there she is with her suitcase ready to go out and sell.
Peanut block pone! Heck yeah! Thanks, Chuck. You made me realize that I need to draw her again.
These are @notenoughapples and @rosy-maple-monogram‘s horsies in 50′sattire (I’d like to say they’re both greasers, but I’m not entirely sure). I definitely like how Apples came out. Just modify his new jacket model a bit, recolor his legs, and slick back that spiky hair of his, and we have a nice greaser. As for Starstruck, aside from the shape of the skirt (which is more a general issue with all of my skirts), she came out pretty well herself. I like the hair most, which I was worried would be a bit of an issue.
Holy crap, this is actually perfect. You really outdid yourself with these! Thanks a lot, Chuck!
